We're currently seeking a Fixed Term Long Day Care Service Director & Educational Leader to support the delivery of a quality education program at Phoenix Street Children's Centre.

- Fixed Term Parental Leave Position
Beginning May 2025 for a 12 month period
Part Time
68 hours per fortnight
4 days a week
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Provide educational leadership while working as a member of a collaborative service team.
- The successful candidate will be required to step into the role of Assistant Co-Ordinator when the Co-Ordinator is absent from the service.
- Support the Co-Ordinator in leading the service educational pedagogy.
- Provide a high quality developmentally appropriate educational program based upon the practices and principals of both the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with the National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid certification.
- The right to work in Australia.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs is preferred.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Co-Ordinator and/or Educational Leader.
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
- Effective communication skills.
