Fleay Gardiner & Associates are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role offers an exciting pathway to transition into a potential equity position, contributing directly to the growth and success of the firm.

We are located in Bunbury, the largest regional centre in WA and less than two hours from Perth. Bunbury is at the gateway to the South West, only 45 minutes from the thriving Busselton - Margaret River area. The Busselton airport operates numerous direct flights per week to Sydney and Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of clients, providing strategic advice and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and management reports.
• Lead and supervise team members, ensuring efficient delivery of client services.
• Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
• Collaborate with partners to shape and implement strategic initiatives for the firm’s success.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA qualification required).
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in public practice accounting.
• Proven expertise in tax compliance, business advisory, and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a client-focused mindset.
• A drive for professional growth and a clear vision for their future in partnership.
