About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fire Services Assistant Manager to join the team at Fire Plumb Victoria, located in Tullamarine, VIC. As a full-time role, you will play a key part in supporting the overall management and operations of the fire services division within the company.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the Managing Director in the day-to-day management and coordination of the fire services team and operations
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to the fire services technicians to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard
• Overseeing the timely completion of fire services inspections, testing, and maintenance activities
• Liaising with clients to understand their fire services requirements and coordinating the delivery of solutions
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies
• Supporting the recruitment, training, and development of the fire services team
• Building new and maintaining current customer relationships

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience as a Fire Services Coordinator or similar role, with a strong technical understanding of fire protection systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and the wider team
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to multitask and prioritise work effectively
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required
