Royal IT, a leading Managed Services Provider based in East Perth, is looking for a talented Level 2 Systems Engineer to join our team.
💰 Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 + Super (based on experience)
🏡 Flexible Work: Hybrid work-from-home options

The Role
As an L2 Systems Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for escalated IT support issues. Your focus will be on providing advanced desktop and systems troubleshooting, ensuring clients receive top-tier service and technical solutions.
This role is perfect for someone with strong technical abilities and exceptional people skills—someone who can handle complex IT challenges while keeping clients engaged, informed, and satisfied.
What You’ll Do
✔ Resolve escalated desktop and system issues with efficiency and professionalism
✔ Provide expert-level support for Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and cloud solutions
✔ Act as a bridge between L1 engineers and L3 specialists, ensuring smooth issue resolution
✔ Work directly with end-users, explaining technical issues in non-technical language
✔ Assist with IT projects, migrations, and system implementations
✔ Proactively identify potential IT risks and offer solutions before they become problems
Your Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
- Strong troubleshooting in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365
- Experience with networking, security, and cloud technologies (Azure, Entra, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you know how to keep clients happy!
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- A passion for delivering an outstanding IT experience to users
