We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer who has worked in a beef processing operation to be based at our Dandenong facility. This is a permanent position based on either our Dayshift or Afternoon shift operation.

Reporting to the Plant Quality Assurance Manager, the positions main focus will be implementing effective and efficient quality assurance systems in the manufacturing facility as well as assisting with various Quality Assurance tasks and projects.

Some of the key responsibilities of the position include:

• Enforce quality standards, perform the necessary checks and provide immediate feedback.
• Conduct internal audits on the quality system.
• Perform pre-operational hygiene checks.
• Daily reporting as required.
• Working closely with production supervisors, employees and site management to ensure conformance to company standards and specifications.
• Daily GMP checks and report on breaches
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor HACCP.
• Assist in micro sampling, micro swabbing, etc.
• Assisting Quality Assurance team members with ad hoc duties as required.

The successful candidate will have worked in a beef processing facility as well as being an experienced Ausmeat Quality Assurance practitioner.

You will be proficient in the use of all aspects of Microsoft Office and your communication skills, attention to detail as well as accuracy and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise your work load sets you apart from the rest.
