Senior Estimator

Location: Adelaide (Victoria Square) – WFH options available
Salary: $650 per day (including casual loading)
Contract: 12-month temporary, full-time

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to lead cost estimation for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role involves developing first-principle estimates, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior estimators.This is a dynamic position ideal for someone who excels under pressure and has a strong background in construction cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimation from feasibility to detailed design.
• Develop and break down first-principle estimates.
• Mentor junior estimators and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals.
• Analyze cost data and market trends.

Key Selection Criteria

• Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, or Quantity Surveying (Essential).
• Experience: Proven experience in first-principle cost estimations within construction projects (Essential).
• Skills: Strong analytical, mathematical, negotiation, and presentation skills (Essential).
• Additional: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and conduct take-offs (Essential).

Special Conditions

• Location: Adelaide (Victoria Square) with flexible WFH options (min. 3 days in the office to start).
• Salary: $650 per day (including casual loading).
• Required Documents: Two reference checks from managers/supervisors, police check (up to 6 months old), pre-employment declaration form, and copy of qualifications.
