Troocoo is proud to partner with a values-led Resources company that supplies markets across Asia, Europe, and South America to recruit a Senior Sourcing Specialist on a contract basis with the potential to become permanent.

The Role

The Senior Sourcing Specialist will report to the Commercial Manager and support the business by managing procurement activities for various goods and services.
This role is based in Brisbane CBD, requiring ad hoc site travel.

Key accountabilities include:

• Lead and manage the source to contract lifecycle, including contract drafting and execution
• Provide commercial management of contracts and framework agreements
• Coordinate contract performance reviews with stakeholders
• Provide commercial support to the operations team on-site
• Drive positive commercial outcomes for the company by using negotiation and influencing skills

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in end-to-end strategic sourcing and contract management.
• Ability to lead negotiations for commercial agreements with guidance provided where necessary.
• Previous experience in the resources/infrastructure / heavy industries is preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to build and foster strong relationships.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in either commerce, business management or a related discipline preferred.
