What you will be doing:

• Ages 0-18 common presentations include: ASD, ADHD, CP, Down Syndrome, learning difficulties, sensory processing disorders, anxiety, emotional and behavioural disorders plus others
• Opportunities to cater your caseload to your interest area
• Most clients are seen weekly and the company also offers holiday intensives
• Liaising with families and stakeholders
• Clinic-based or working at the beach

Surfing Program

For therapists interested in the surfing program, you will receive full training on safety in the water. You will work alongside a surf instructor and assist with the session. The programs have been found to improve a child's confidence at the beach and help them to learn new skills and help with self-regulation plus lots more benefits! You can expect to be at the beach 1-2 afternoons per week.

Important note: engaging in the surf program is completely optional for all OTs!

How you will be supported

You will have a structured induction program with a very gradual increase in the number of clients you are seeing. The Director of the company will provide you with 1:1 supervision weekly and is also available throughout the week for ADHOC support.

There is also monthly supervision with the whole team where they discuss complex cases and share ideas.
