- Pay rate - $60-70p.h + super
- Location – Torrens Island
- 12 month initial contract with potential to extend

What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert health and safety advice to transition teams, ensuring compliance with HSE standards.
- Implement and manage safety programs, including contractor management and risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments, critical control checks, and site safety observations.
- Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and recommend preventative actions.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including site managers and leadership teams, to drive a proactive safety culture.
- Support and measure the application of the HSE Contractor Management Framework.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, conduct audits, and contribute to strategic safety initiatives.
What You’ll Bring:
Qualifications (Mandatory)
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Key Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in heavy industry, construction, or other high-risk environments.
- Strong risk management expertise, including risk assessments and critical control checks.
- Proven ability in contractor safety management, ensuring compliance and engagement.
- Incident investigation and management skills, with experience in root cause analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to influence and drive safety improvements.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking to identify and implement proactive safety solutions.
- Project management capability, ensuring HSE initiatives are effectively delivered.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Regular site visits required (approx. 12 times per year).
- Light physical activity, including plant inspections and navigating industrial environments.
- Pre-employment medical assessment required.
