About the Role:

Selerity is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding our reach and driving growth within the Australian market. As a Business Development Manager at Selerity, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our managed services and SAS software license offerings. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for technology and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on organisations that can benefit from Selerity's managed services and SAS software licenses
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve agreed revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of Selerity
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients by understanding their ICT needs and proposing tailored solutions
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new markets
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, clearly articulating Selerity's value proposition
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and service delivery, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and manage your sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, and performance to management

About You:

  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within the IT sector
  • Strong understanding of IT managed services and software solutions (knowledge of SAS Software is a plus but not mandatory)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with a proactive approach
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
