Job Description:
Are you a passionate educator with a knack for creativity? Do you thrive on making learning fun and engaging? Are you a VCEVM expert with a particular focus on WRS and PDS?
If so, we want you to join our team as a VCEVM Mentor/Teacher, Financial Literacy Trainer, Content Creator, and all round VCEVM Guru!
Key Responsibilities:
As VCEVM Mentor/Teacher you'll have a unique opportunity to revolutionise education by:
1. Delivering Financial Literacy Micro-credentials for students in schools:
- Bring financial literacy education to life by delivering engaging and interactive micro-credential courses to schools across Victoria.
- Deliver Financial Literacy sessions to senior secondary students in secondary schools throughout Victoria from to 2 to 3 days per week in schools.
- Customise training programs to align with VCEVM streams, with a specific focus on Work-Related Skills (WRS) and Personal Development Skills (PDS).
- Foster a dynamic learning environment where students and educators have a blast while gaining essential financial knowledge.
2. Creating Innovative Content:
- Be the driving force behind the development of captivating financial educational content for students in schools. Use your creativity to make learning a fun and memorable experience.
- Craft a diverse range of resources, including videos, presentations, interactive modules, assessments, and more in conjunction with our team of experts.
- Develop extension tasks and activites for students completing the VCEVM
3. Being a VCEVM School Mentor:
- Work with a range of secondary schools in Victoria as their number 1 point of call for all things eduClick and VCEVM.
- Help schools with their programs, educate and empower them to use our content to its full and provide market leading customer service
- Stay at the forefront of the VCEVM, WRS, and PDS developments, and incorporate this knowledge into our programs as well as run and co-orindate a range of PD sessions for teachers in schools
4. Micro-credential Development:
- Collaborate closely with the eduClick team to design, develop, and continually enhance micro-credentials for students in all year levels of school.
- Conduct evaluations to gauge the effectiveness of the micro-credentials we deliver and recommend improvements to meet evolving educational needs.
5. Build School Partnerships:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with schools, educators, and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and collaboration with new schools and educational institutions.
- Gather feedback, assess program impact, and make data-driven enhancements.
Qualifications/Requirements of the Role:
- A Bachelor's degree in education, finance, or a related field (recommended but not 100% mandatory)
- Teaching in a secondary school (recommended but not 100% mandatory)
- Certification or extensive experience in financial literacy education or an ability to deliver and engage students
- Proficiency in the VCEVM, with a focus on WRS and PDS.
- Proven expertise in delivering engaging training sessions and content creation.
- A passion for making education a fun and exciting journey for students and teachers
- Strong content creation skills and the ability to understand secondary school students.
- Use of own car to travel to and from schools (all expenses are paid)
- Regional travel on occasions is required
