Duties
The Professional Practice Lead will build the capacity of senior school psychologists and their teams, overseeing the model and allocation of Psychology services within Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP), embedding governance structures and providing associated recommendations to the Statewide Manager of Professional Support Staff.
Period of Appointment
Ongoing - Start date of 28 April 2025
Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.
Hours per fortnight
76 hours per fortnight
Essential Requirements
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment); AND
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia; AND
- Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Approval from the Psychology Board of Australia as a Board-approved supervisor
Desirable Requirements
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications.
- Holds area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Counselling Psychology, Community Psychology, Educational and Developmental Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Health Psychology, or Organisational Psychology.
- Membership with the Australian Psychological Society.
- A current driver's licence.
