Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme
This vacancy is eligible for an Attraction and Retention incentive under the NSW Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme, paid on a fortnightly basis.
The Attraction incentive for this position equates to:
An Allowance of up to $10,000 in total for the first 12 months of your employment as successful candidate to this position.
A Retention incentive of up to $5,000 in total may be offered thereafter annually (dependent on position continuing to meet scheme and policy criteria).
Employees are responsible to understand the criteria of accepting and retaining the incentives paid and are recommended to seek financial advice prior to accepting an Attraction or Retention payment as part of their employment.

About The Opportunity
The primary role of the Senior Occupational Therapist is to provide high quality assessment and occupational therapy interventions to help consumers accessing the acute wards manage their health and meet their goals.
This position will work to provide leadership and governance to acute care services, as well as providing clinical support and supervision to Level 1 / 2 OT’s. This role encompasses a strong multi-disciplinary focus to ensure positive patient outcomes and deliver high quality Occupational Therapy services.

What You'll Be Doing
Bowral & District Hospital is a major Rural Hospital which provides a wide range of services, including general medical, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatric, surgical, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, geriatric and emergency services.
The senior Occupational Therapist provides expertise within occupational therapy services including the provision of safe, timely, compassionate and high-quality person-centred care to patients at Bowral Hospital within the Inpatient Acute Service.
