Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse ready to make a difference in the lives of patients requiring Renal & Chemo care? Port Lincoln Hospital is seeking a passionate nurse to join our Renal Unit and provide exceptional nursing services.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Renal Unit, you'll have the opportunity to excel in a variety of health service settings, utilising your experience to deliver high-quality care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver comprehensive and empathetic care to patients undergoing Renal treatment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Renal services
  • Providing specific haemodialysis services to a group of patients in a Nurse-led Satellite Renal Unit.
  • Supporting the development and learning of less experienced staff, ensuring the highest standards of nursing care are maintained.
