Are you a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity in the operating theatre environment? Port Lincoln Hospital is looking for a passionate individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional surgical care.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Theatre Department, you'll play a pivotal role in providing nursing services at our health service setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing nursing care in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
- Continuously developing your knowledge and skills, progressing from novice to proficient practice through ongoing professional development and experience.
- Accepting accountability for your own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others, ensuring the highest quality of patient care at all times.
- Provide health promotion and education, to patients/clients or groups and carers to improve the health outcomes of individual.
About You
- You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate
- You will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care.
