Your new company
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor position at our Western Sydney Warehouse. You will be part of a dedicated team managing all Warehouse & Distribution functions. This role requires active engagement on the warehouse floor from Monday to Friday with flexible shift options, between 6am to 2.30pm / 7am to 3.30pm / 8am to 4.30pm.

Your new role

• Managing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory control and adherence to best practices for inbound and outbound operations.
• Processing sales orders, including picking, packing, labelling, and shipping, while maintaining a schedule.
• Keeping stakeholders informed about freight-related matters.
• Maintaining precise and strict inventory controls
• Supervising, delegating tasks, and providing training to the team.
• Overseeing shipping and receiving activities and collaborating with transport companies.
• Managing the ordering and tracking of consumables.
• Conducting spot checks, stock takes, and performance management tasks.
• Operating warehouse equipment, such as vehicles, efficiently and without causing damage.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong customer focus, prioritising customer satisfaction.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Responsible for overseeing a team of 3 in the warehouse
• Experience with WMS, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Preferred possession of a current forklift licence and car licence.
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to provide clear direction and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills for efficient task prioritisation and meeting deadlines.
• Creative and innovative thinking to contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide the team.
• Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and operations management.
• Must pass police and medical checks (organised by client)
