This leading developer and lifestyle brand is renowned for delivering high-end, design-led projects across the boutique residential, mixed-use, and build-to-rent sectors, along with hospitality and leisure. With continued growth and a strong project pipeline, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a Design Director role, driving visionary projects from concept to completion. As Design Director you will oversee the vision, creation, and delivery of multiple large-scale projects, with a strong focus on Mixed-Use developments. This role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to lead both internal teams and external consultants, ensuring that all projects align with design pillars, commercial targets, and brand vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design process across multiple projects
• Oversee project briefs, design guidelines, and key documentation
• Manage key stakeholders, including architects, planners, and interior designers
• Review and enhance architectural plans for efficiency, functionality, and increased market appeal
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Legal teams to support project launches
• Provide design management during construction to maintain project vision
• Support feasibility studies and concept development for new business opportunities
• Mentor and develop the design team

Skills & Experience

• Master's degree in Architecture or other relevant qualification
• Proven significant experience in a similar role
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a team
• Hands-on approach, actively contributing to design work, not just overseeing
• Expert knowledge of local planning and building controls
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for design efficiency
• Passion for high-end, luxury design with a focus on quality and innovation
