This company designs and builds their clients' dream homes and also offers greater accessibility to a better lifestyle with a new form of build-to-rent housing. They are looking for a confident Senior Design Architect to lead the design team and also undertake aspects of Design Management. A detailed role description will be provided to short listed candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Working on innovative residential projects from concept to completion
• Produce good quality design outcomes
• Strong knowledge of NCC and state/local planning codes
• Understanding of the market cost of construction, building industry, practices, government rules & regulations

Skills and experience

• Relevant qualification in architecture
• NSW registration essential
• Design Practitioner registration strongly preferred
• Full Australian working rights
• Demonstrated local experience gained on high quality residential projects
• ArchiCAD skills
• Added bonus if you know SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative
• Exposure to all phases of the architectural process
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and visually
• Good knowledge of local codes and standards, and understanding of council controls & regulations
• A keen eye for detail and professional approach to work
