Absolute Care & Health is looking for an experienced ward clerk, medical receptionist or similarly skilled individual to join our dynamic team and help further grow our in-home community nursing service.

The Opportunity:
This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment where no two days are the same. You will be supporting vulnerable people to stay in their home and receive clinical services that ordinarily are delivered in a hospital or clinic setting.
Main Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Act as the first point of contact for the nursing team and nursing clients and manage calls accordingly.
• Establish and maintain client and nursing schedule, ensuring all scheduled visits are appropriately covered with suitably skilled staff.
• Receive and manage new client referrals.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure service delivery reports are provided where requested.
• Effectively escalate clinical issues to leadership team for review and management.
• Support Nursing staff with transparent communication, providing feedback to ensure they are informed of any client issues.

• Is available to work shifts that occur on any day of the week and that will be between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Has completed studies in Health administration or would be willing to do so.
