About you:

• Minimum 5 years managing medium to large workshop.
• Qualified diesel mechanic with 20 years experience.
• Experience with Kenworth, Mercedes, Cummins and Volvo, desirable but not essential.
• Experience in general fleet Maintenance.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment.
• Competent with the Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Gearbox experience desired.

About the role:

• Strong leader and mentor to 20 workshop team members.
• Manage Toolbox, Safety Alerts, Factory recalls and defect management clearance.
• Manage admin of Workshop Management system.
• Responsible for managing/roster of 2 sites 24/5 plus weekend.
• Fridge experience advantageous.
• Volvo & Kenworth/Cummins experience required.
• Be on call as escalation.
