About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position plays a key role within our finance team. We are looking for an experienced finance professional who has high attention to detail, is proactive, and has strong communication skills. This is a multifaceted position that will cover a variety of corporate administrative functions, including:
- Oversee payroll functions and ensure accurate processing.
- Handling accounts payable/ receivable transactions and reconciliation.
- Processing bank reconciliations, including credit cards.
- Assisting the CFO with end of month journals and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Assist and support the corporate audit functions.
- Assist in managing finance and accounting activities of the organisation to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer with key projects and priorities.
- Support and drive process improvements across finance functions and corporate workflows.
About You
We are seeking a driven professional ready to join our team and hit the ground running!
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting/Finance or Diploma of Business or similar (essential)
- Formal undergraduate qualification in accounting, business or similar (desirable)
- Minimally three years’ experience working within a similar finance position.
- Strong technological literacy with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary systems and platforms with proven experience in Xero (or similar), Microsoft suite, in particular, intermediate to advance excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a drive for innovation and best practice.
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders and a commitment to our organisational purpose and mission.
