Our Property Development company in Oakleigh South has the opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to join the team. You will be working in one of the most outstanding office spaces in South East Melbourne, with a supportive community of in house staff who work collaboratively on design and construction.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is confident, professional and excellent at communication-both face to face and over the phone. Our development administrator role involves tasks such as maintaining registers and systems, managing our social media, assisting in the marketing of new property developments and engaging with key stakeholders. About the role
Your role will be to assist the Property Manager with the management of the Property development and leasing. You will be dealing with town planning, construction company and real estate agent. In this role, you will be focusing on providing administrative support in property development, leasing and internal administration.
As part of your daily duties, you will be responsible for:
- Actively managing projects from conception to completion
- Design development and town planning preparation
- Preparation and maintaining financial models for current and prospective projects
- Lead/implement Residential Sustainability Policy at a project level
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Strong involvement in town planning process
- Pre purchase property land titles and site check
- Management of property development process
- Engagement and collaboration with site managers to ensure construction time frames are met
- Prepare weekly reports
- Manage the signing and exchange of construction contracts
- Follow up Building Surveying to get building permit
- Follow up after sale specifications during the constructions period
- Follow up land titles and settlements
- Follow up council on permits and approvals
- Daily internal office administration work
Personal attributes of those who wish to apply to this role:
- Able to start immediately
- Able to work full time (5 days in the office)
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in clear communication
- Great time management and organisational skills
- Experienced in Property Development/Real Estate, Construction, town planning or related industries (highly regarded)
- Proficient in office management systems: experience including MS Office Suite, Office 365, MS Excel
- Highly organised in project management, with problem-solving skills with multi-tasking ability
- Ability to work independently and willingness to collaborate in a team environment
- Professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license (along with a reliable car)
