The Role
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in this newly created role. This role plays a critical part in managing the company’s financial health by providing accurate financial information, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Reporting to the CFO, this position is essential for preparing reports, overseeing budgeting processes, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring financial compliance across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual performance to budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
- Track recurring revenue metrics (MRR/ARR) and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Calculate and process sales commissions accurately.
- Allocate costs across different software products, projects, and service lines.
- Perform regular audits on accounts receivable and payable.
- Review and analyse vendor and customer contracts to assess financial implications, risks, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and business efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and the broader finance team on financial strategy and planning.

About You
- A degree in Accounting/Finance or in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in aAccountant role.
- Experience in the Telecommunication industry (Highly Advantageous)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
