Role Overview

In this role you’ll provide support to the Finance Manager by taking on the responsibility of ensuring the accuracy of all the information provided in the financial accounts, and to complete the end of month process, including balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of documentation for internal and external audits, as well as statutory reporting and funding acquittals.

  • You have strong analytical skills put to good use with budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting.
  • An understanding of the Western Australian Government financial processes would be helpful but if this has not been your thing so far, you have zero doubts that you’ll be able to figure it out.
  • Experience within the sporting sector would be great but is not essential although a passion for sport will be a game changer – if only to join in the chatter in the staff room!
  • Above all else, you are a genuine team player that cares about others and always acts with kindness and integrity.
