The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Full-Time Administration Assistant with a variety of responsibilities. The Administration Assistant is required to understand and perform various administrative tasks accordingly and work within a supportive team.
Responsibilities involve:
- Maintains filing processes
- Checks all work has been completed to standard
- Actively work with other staff to get needed documents and respond to customer requests outside of a normal billing period when necessary.
- Performing daily invoicing functions supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable by generating accurate, complete, and timely invoices using the billing software.
- Maintain current records of collected payments, sent invoices, and updated customer information.
- Rectification and variation of documentation
- Other administrative tasks relating to truss production and scheduling
- Generate quotes and costing reports (as required)
- Create ‘job packs’ including finalising detailing & production paperwork ready for sites
This role would ideally suit someone with the below skills and attributes:
- Experience in the manufacturing/building supplies industry
- High level of data entry speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and prioritise requirements
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Administration experience
