About the Role
As a Senior Program Officer and Educational Visitor, you will play a key role in delivering health system improvements across Melbourne’s eastern and north-eastern regions. Sitting within our Strategy and System Design unit, this role focuses on clinical facilitation, education, and program delivery to support healthcare professionals and the wider community.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement targeted health education initiatives to improve service delivery.
- Work closely with General Practices, Pharmacies, and Residential Aged Care Facilities to deliver high-quality training.
- Facilitate one-on-one and small group educational sessions with health professionals to inform and influence best practices.
- Contribute to program design, project management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure sustainable and impactful healthcare solutions.
- Utilise data-driven approaches to evaluate program effectiveness and enhance service outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for a healthcare professional, educator, or program specialist with a strong ability to engage with health practitioners and lead educational initiatives. You will bring:
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience in clinical education and training.
- Understanding of healthcare settings, including General Practice, Pharmacies, and Aged Care.
- Experience in territory planning, educational outreach, or academic detailing.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement evidence-based programs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
