What does the role involve?
- Planning and scheduling maintenance activities to optimise equipment performance.
- Proactively managing workload and ensuring efficient job allocation.
- Overseeing servicing and repairs to reduce equipment downtime.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and improvements.
- Leadership of a team of people including training, conducting performance reviews, scheduling shifts, managing leave and attendance.
- Ensuring your section of the warehouse runs smoothly.
- Helping to develop the next generation of leaders in our warehouse by training and coaching team members to be their best.
- Maximising resources efficiency to achieve business goals while controlling costs and minimising losses.
- Delegating tasks efficiently, capitalising on the skills, roles, and interests of your team members to achieve results.
- Maintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety, and cleanliness to create an environment that celebrates and nurtures excellence.

Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritise maintenance tasks effectively.
- Mechanical skills (desirable but not essential).
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and ownership of the department.
- An experienced, inspiring leader who develops and motivates a team to deliver their best every day.
- An independent thinker, comfortable to lead even when no specific guidance or direction is provided.
- A problem-solver who uses initiative to continually improve the quality and efficiency of work.
- A strong communicator who effectively engage teammates at all levels, fostering an inclusive workplace for our diverse teams.
- A team player, ready to step in and support wherever needed.
- A person with exceptional time management skills, capable of handling a heavy workload and prioritising tasks effectively.
