About the role

Premier Concrete Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Concreters for full-time roles in Hallam, VIC. You will have the opportunity to work as a crew leader or crew member, responsible for delivering high-quality concrete slabs or pathways and paving. This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a team to complete concrete projects to tight deadlines.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing site
• Mixing, pouring and finishing concrete slabs, pathways and paving to specifications
• Smoothing and levelling concrete surfaces using trowels and other tools
• Operating concrete pumps, vibrators and other equipment as required
• Monitoring the curing process and implementing protective measures
• Dismantling and clearing the site once the work is complete

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Concreter, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
• Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding work
• Ability to work safely and in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to find the best solutions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
