Platinum Plant & Equipment Hire team provides specialists in delivering works within live and densely populated environments, like the Perth CBD and surrounding areas. Due to continuing growth and projects, we are seeking qualified, safety driven and motivated Traffic Controllers with BWTM, and Crew Leaders with a minimum of AWTM ticket for an immediate start.

We are offering above award rates (permanent full-time basis) from $33.38 to $36.77 per hour + penalties depending on experience and tickets and we pay the MRWA rates when applicable. Preference is to have a minimum of two years experience.

Positions: Traffic Controller (Crew Leaders, AWTM, TMA, BWTM and TC)

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement traffic management plans to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
• Set up and maintain traffic control equipment and signage.
• Direct traffic in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Priorities safety and environmental responsibility in all operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Work well in a team.
• Physically fit and capable for 12-hour days if required.
• Available all hours Monday-Sunday and Public holidays.
• Must be Reliable and Experienced.

Skills & Experience:

• Hold current BWTM, TC and AWTM Tickets
• Construction White Card
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transport
• Effective Communication
• Punctuality and reliability
• Previous experience in team leading or traffic management roles is highly regarded
• Additional qualifications such as First Aid or mechanical aptitude are highly regarded
