Who you will be working for:

You will be working for one of Melbourne's “employer of choice” law firms, alongside a partner who is incredibly well connected. There are also international commercial clients in the fold.

What you will be doing:

This Senior Associate or Special Counsel level Commercial Law role will provide you with an opportunity to work on grunty Commercial Law matters with sophisticated clients. You will have both transactional skills (buying and selling businesses), and experience drafting contracts of all sorts - such as joint venture agreements, partnership agreements, terms of trade. There will also always be some IP work to keep things interesting. Bringing a fee-base is not essential, as the team already has more than enough work to keep you busy, but BD skills would be useful as all lawyers are encouraged to grow the firm's practice.

The successful SA-level Commercial Lawyer will need:

• Autonomous experience in Commercial Law
• Excellent communication & client relationship skills
• An intuitive appreciation of commercial realities
• Excellent drafting skills
• A passion for assisting the fast-paced set with their commercial issues
