We are currently seeking a driven, motivated, and friendly team member to join our Appliance Repair Team who is able to assist us in continuing to provide excellent customer service to all our valued clients in Canberra and the surrounding region.

The Challenge

As a customer service Super Star, you will be responsible for managing a large volume of telephone calls, scheduling customer jobs, and coordinating a team of Appliance Repair Technitians.

The role works in conjunction with other Customer Service / Admin officers and reports to the Office Manager ( and indirectly to the other Managers of the business. )

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

Primary Tasks

  • Answering telephone calls promptly
  • Service call Booking and Tracking
  • Communicating with clients to organize the smooth delivery of services
  • Coordinating follow-up appointments by parts/equipment arrival.
  • Providing administration assistance to management when required.
  • Enter job/billing information in Simpro Software
  • Action incoming emails.

Skills and experience

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues
  • Excellent telephone manner, along with experience working in a fast-paced role accepting a high volume of telephone calls.
  • Experience in Electrical specifically with Appliances is an advantage but not essential
  • Computer Literacy, specifically with experience using job scheduling software ( experience in simPRO advantageous )
  • Remain calm under pressure a fast-paced, fun environment
  • Strong organization and having the ability to follow up on tasks that are not complete is critical, at times you will be juggling many tasks at once
  • Highly organized, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong initiative, with the ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Consistently maintain a high standard, professional manner, and a reliable approach to work.

General Information

  • Standard working hours Monday to Friday from8 am - 4pm with 30 minutes for lunch & 15 min tea break
  • Free onsite parking
