Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Stormwater Management to join School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic research team contributing to the development of next-generation water management technologies. The role will initially focus on real-time control modelling and performance optimization of wetland systems, with potential extension into broader Internet of Things (IoT) applications in water management through the ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub in IoT for Water.

What you need to succeed
- Completion of a doctoral qualification in in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field with demonstrated expertise in water systems modelling and environmental monitoring.
- Proven experience with real time monitoring and/or control of water systems.
- Proven proficiency in programming and developing water models.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and visualization, particularly with environmental time-series data.
- Proven success at establishing and developing internal and external partnerships that extend best practice.
- Evidence of support on national and international research outcomes including relevant publications.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage effectively with internal/external stakeholders.
