About the role

As a Construction Leading Hand at DYNACIV Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects . This full-time position will see you take on a supervisory and hands-on role, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of construction projects to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, delegating tasks and monitoring progress
• Liaise with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Oversee the quality of work and adherence to safety protocols
• Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on site
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to less experienced construction workers
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the project

What we're looking for

• Significant experience as a leading hand or supervisor in the construction industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects in concrete remediation, waterproofing, protective coating and structural remediation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and direct construction crews
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues as they arise
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to different job sites as needed
