There are not many earthmoving dealers in Australia that have 1 stood the test of time, 2 have been selling machinery for over 40 years and 3 have the largest section of machine brands under one name. With national and international operations, the business employees over 300 staff and they spend huge money on technical backup support. As you would know yourself, you’re only as good as your backup, selling new machines is only one part if you want repeat business, this comes down to parts, service and aftermarket support. The company is also streamlined and in this role, you will report directly to the national sales manager as there is no Sales manager or State manager within the company. This company employees’ staff that are 100% self-sufficient and don’t need their hand held or require day to day phone calls or shadowing. You are respected for your professionalism and your many years as sales rep to get on with your job at hand. This works for some but most need micromanagement to keep them in check, which do you prefer?

Job Opportunity –

In this role you will be tasked in targeting everyone and anyone that is using mobile machinery, The list of customers and industries are endless. In the territory there are many customers within Civil, Quarries, Councils, contractors, hire, timber yards and farmers. So, you have a huge variety to target. You will need to manage your territory and have your ear to the floor to make sure you know who is buying and what projects are coming up in your area. The other part of the role is the other reps nationally invest allot of time into social media and advertising machinery their own platforms. Any way possible the business needs you to think outside the box and look at any way possible to sell machinery.

Within this role you will have a full line of machinery available to you and you will also get product training on it all. Each machine can be sold through demonstration or through media information through your Ipad / presentation.

  • Excavators – 1 tonne to 86.2 tonne
  • Wheel Loaders
  • Graders
  • Articulated dump Trucks
  • Skid and track loaders
  • Roller and compaction equipment
  • Attachments
  • Material handling cranes
  • Dozers

Your territory for this role covers everything from the M4 South down to Goulburn and the South Coast. We also have another potential role covering the Western Suburbs but this role is not confirmed by head office yet.

Candidate Requirements –

  • 3 + Years in selling construction equipment
  • Proven relationships within Civil construction
  • Team Player
  • Sales Hunter and strong at cold calling and building new relationships
  • Clear communication
  • Excellent IT and Social Media skills

Salary Package –

  • $110,000
  • Uncapped Coms – 1.5% of GP
  • Company 4WD – Ford Ranger + Fuel Card + Toll pass
  • Phone and Laptop

  • Product and machine training
  • 2-week onboarding program
  • Company Credit Card
