Our opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our Childcare Centre. Guiding and nurturing our children and team we know that you play a crucial role driving both educational outcomes and business success. This role will initially cover a parental leave position for 12 months, with the fabulous opportunity to transition into a newly built second centre in the park Ridge area.
About you:
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Centre Director or in a senior leadership role within a childcare setting
Qualification: A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
Skills: Strong people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team by demonstrating authentic and consistent leadership. A passion for early childhood education and a genuine commitment to creating a respectful, nurturing and inclusive environment.
Your role as the Centre Manager.
- Build a supportive and collaborative environment where team members can thrive.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Oversee budgets and centre costs with the ability to identify opportunities for growth, improve operational systems, and lead the Centre towards increased occupancy and ensure financial sustainability.
- A strong knowledge of regulatory requirements ensuring your centre remains fully compliant with all relevant legislation.
- Deliver a high-quality educational program striving for best practice and continuous improvement.
- Optimise staffing through strategic rostering, ensuring the right people are in the right places.
- Develop professional and positive relationships with families.
- Champion a strong safety culture, implementing processes to ensure safety risks are managed.
