About the role:

Join the dynamic team at Dr. Pepper Dental as a casual Dental Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a smooth and efficient dental experience for our patients. With a focus on excellent customer service, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the dental industry.

This can also be an exciting opportunity for a junior with no experience to start their career in the dental industry.

We have two well established dental clinics in the Newcastle area. One is located at Adamstown & the other is located in The Junction.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
• Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and charting treatment notes.
• Greeting patients, managing patient flow, and updating patient records.
• Maintaining stock levels of dental materials and supplies.
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients throughout their visit.
• Supporting the wider dental team as needed.
• Basic reception duties where required.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
• Your own vehicle or regular access to a car.

We have two well established dental clinics in the area. This role will be based at both of these locations.

3-4 days a week can be offered.

Juniors or those with no experience are also encouraged to apply.
