About the Role

As a Locum Dental Assistant with Serco, you’ll be a key player in supporting ADF personnel. You’ll get hands-on experience working with top-tier clinicians, while assisting in delivering dental services that make a real impact on the health and well-being of Defence personnel.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare & sterilise dental equipment to infection control standards
• Assist with patient management, chair positioning, and passing instruments
• Record and update medical histories and treatment plans
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment area while following sterilisation protocols
• Prepare dental materials such as fillings, impressions, and cements

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 2 years’ full-time chair-side dental assisting experience within the last 5 years
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent)
• First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certifications
• Australian Citizenship (a must) and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance
