The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced employment law Lawyer to run their employment law claims that arise or a related to a personal injury claim. You will run these files autonomously while being a part of the larger personal injury practice. This is an opportunity build a practice area with a solid administrative and marketing team to support your growth. This is a new and growing workplace relations practice in Brisbane.

You would be working on behalf of employees advising on their employment law issues, including:

• Assisting with workplace disputes and negotiations with your employer
• Termination, unfair dismissal, breach of contract, discrimination and redundancy entitlements
• Fair work Commission appearances
• Discrimination advice
• Advice on employment contracts

About You

The ideal candidate for this Employment Lawyer role will have:

• 3+ years PAE with experience in employment law.
• Shows initiative and able to problem-solve.
• Able to run files confidently and competently.
• Good communication skills both within a team and with clients.
• Excellent file management, organisational skills.
