About the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Project Managers with the development of renewable development projects (wind, PV and BESS). It's an excellent This is an excellent opportunity for a renewable energy enthusiast, with maybe 1-2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and environmental approval processes
• Liaise with stakeholders regarding planning approach
• Co-ordinate external consultants to undertake site surveys
• Receive, review and finalise technical and planning reports
• Supply the in-house technical team, external consultants and technical analysts with relevant information
• Participate in project concept design, assessment and design evolution
• Leverage relevant software to produce quality outputs including high quality maps, analysis of wind or solar data etc.

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification (Planning, Environment, Geography, Engineering or Science related discipline)
• Ideally 1-2 years’ experience in renewable energy - however open to graduate with applicable skillset
• Keen interest in renewables
• Experience in GIS and/or other graphical software is beneficial
• Willingness and flexibility to travel to project sites
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management
