THE COMPANY

My client is a leading supplier of compressed air systems and services. They provide reliable, energy-efficient solutions to businesses that rely on high-performance air compressors to keep their operations running. Known for their expertise and strong customer focus, they offer everything from equipment sales to ongoing service and maintenance contracts.

THE ROLE

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll spend most of your time on the road, meeting with customers in manufacturing, mining, construction, and energy. Your main goal? Building relationships, understanding what customers need, and helping them find the right compressed air solutions to keep their operations running smoothly.

Here’s what you’ll be doing day-to-day:

• You’ll be visiting industrial sites, factories, and construction projects, talking to operations managers, maintenance teams, and business owners about their air compressor needs.
• Actively looking for opportunities, reaching out to potential customers, and introducing them to our products and services.
• Checking in with current clients, making sure their equipment is working efficiently, and seeing if there’s anything else we can help with.
• Using your knowledge of air compressors, vacuum systems, and service plans, you’ll help customers understand the best options to meet their needs and solve their challenges.
• Sending quotes, following up on leads, and working through negotiations to close deals.
• Collaborating with our service, engineering, and logistics teams to make sure everything runs smoothly from sale to installation and beyond.

This role is all about getting out there, talking to people, and making things happen. You’ll have plenty of support, but you’ll also have the freedom to manage your own schedule and make your own success. ABOUT YOU

• Sales experience in industrial equipment or compressed air solutions, ideally with a background in air compressors, vacuum systems, or service plans.
• Confident in building relationships and understanding customer needs, offering tailored solutions.
• Enjoys finding new opportunities and driving sales across industries like manufacturing, mining, construction, and energy.
• Experienced in managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your time to meet goals with - minimal supervision.
• Capable of explaining complex solutions clearly and building trust with clients.
• Looking for a role that allows you to leverage your sales experience, make an impact, and work independently.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Base Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 + Super + Commission + Car
