We are a growing steel fabrication business based in Sydney. We specialize in sheet and tube fibre laser cutting, screw piles, and civil & construction products. As we expand, we are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales and grow our client base.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in sales and business growth. Your primary role will be to generate new business, maintain relationships with existing clients, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the steel fabrication, construction, and manufacturing sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Generate and convert leads into long-term business partnerships.
• Promote our services, including fibre laser cutting (sheet & tube), screw piles, and civil/construction products.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential customers.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to maximize business opportunities.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Strong industry network and the ability to bring in new clients.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive results.
• Technical knowledge of laser cutting, fabrication, and construction products is a plus but not required.
• Self-motivated with a passion for sales and business growth.
• A valid driver’s license (company car provided).
