About us
The Bermagui Beach Hotel is quickly becoming one of the main destinations for locals and tourist on the NSW south coast. With a highly experienced, high calibre head chef, we boast the highest quality pub food around with local produce as our main focus. Our restaurant is a high volume operation with one menu across both our bistro and bar. We are seasonal, with our highs being between October - April. You will be a player in a strong kitchen team, backed by strong management and hospitality professionals throughout the venue. We are looking for someone who wants to further their culinary skills and assist in driving our team to new heights.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with good references
- Ability to work composed under pressure
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work across all sections of our kitchen
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist our Head chef in executing the menu to the highest quality
- Assist and have input on menu
- Food preparation
- Staff training
- Working all sections of the kitchen. Open wood fire grill, Larder, Pans
