Our client located in the western suburbs is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the quality, accuracy, put-away and system integrity of raw materials for the VIC operations team.

The Role

Reporting to the VIC Operations Manager this position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse including the management of a team. The key responsibilities include weekly cycle counting of raw materials ensuring system integrity and accuracy as scheduled and directed by management, coordination of full stock take as scheduled and directed by management, supervision of warehouse staff, ensure employees are trained, motivated and productive adhering to OH&S guidelines and ensure systems and processes are being followed in accordance with established company processes.

• Ability to motivate and lead a team
• Superior time management and organisational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands
• Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to adapt to new situations and challenges quickly
• Proven warehouse supervisory experience in a fast-paced busy environment
• A current forklift licence is essential
