About the role

Turf Design Studio Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Human Resource Adviser to join our dynamic team in Chippendale, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to our growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Advising managers and employees on all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
• Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Overseeing the employee lifecycle, from attraction and selection to retention and exit
• Assisting with employee training and development initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
• Providing HR data analysis and reporting to support business decisions
• Collaborating with the leadership team to identify and address HR-related challenges
• Prepare Full time/ Part time & Casual contracts according to Fair Work Ombudsman and Architects Award [MA000079] guidelines, review and adjust Position Descriptions with Directors/Associates
• Ensure general and Business Management System induction , training and competencies are managed and documented in accordance with the BMS procedures
• Manage staff performance reviews (schedule, fill in performance review register)
• Have an updated record of leave, sick leave, personal leave Time in Lieu, Unpaid Leave for the monthly payroll.
• Monitor & Manage Business Management System to keep ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Management, 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001:2008 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certifications.
• OH&S reviews + reminders ,fire equipment & drills, First aid equipment ,Office inspections

What we're looking for

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within a consulting or service-oriented environment
• Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
• Proficient in HR data analysis and reporting
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is highly desirable
