Role Overview

As a Business Manager, you will handle initial inquiries from prospective clients, listen to and validate their needs, and explain how Seniors Pathway can help them. You will monitor and coordinate the movement of clients through the business to support case managers, assist with financial administration, and take ownership of business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Services & Operations

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Oversee case managers and administrative staff, ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Support clients in understanding aged care fees and government financial assessments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aged care policies and communicate updates to the team.

Business & Team Management

  • Lead and supervise staff to ensure efficient workflow and professional service.
  • Manage and optimise the Customer Relationship Management tool and time tracking software.
  • Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives alongside the Director.
  • Monitor and improve business processes to enhance service delivery.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Manage billing processes for consultations, case management, and aged care placements.
  • Ensure accurate client records and compliance with privacy and aged care policies.
  • Develop and update operational templates, including schedules of fees and service agreements.
  • Oversee financial planning and reporting to support business growth.

Stakeholder Engagement & Growth

  • Build and maintain relationships with aged care providers and industry stakeholders.
  • Liaise with My Aged Care representatives to ensure smooth service coordination.
  • Support business expansion through strategic planning and client engagement initiatives.

Essential Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must have:
Aged Care Experience – Strong understanding of the Australian aged care system, including My Aged Care processes and financial assessments.

Sales Ability – Experience in promoting and selling services to potential clients.
Staff Management Experience – Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
High-Level Computer Skills – Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business management tools.
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication – Strong ability to communicate professionally with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
Attention to Detail – Accurately handling client information, financial data, and compliance requirements.
Problem-Solving Ability – A proactive approach to identifying issues and finding effective solutions.

Desirable Requirements Financial Knowledge – Understanding of aged care fees, budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
