The Margaret River Chocolate Company is an iconic Western Australian Business nestled in the heart of the Margaret River Region. It is renowned for its immense chocolate selections, warm hospitality and decadent Chocolate Café.

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Cooks and Pastry Cooks to join our team. These full-time positions will involve providing exceptional food quality and preparation in a fast paced, friendly and welcoming environment. As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding culinary experience to our customers.

What you'll be doing

As a Cook

• Prepare, cook and present dishes according to our standards
• Ensure smooth operations & high-quality output
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist in training junior staff
• Monitor ingredients level, manage orders and minimise food waste
• Work closely with other kitchen sections and FOH Supervisors

As a Pastry Cook

• Prepare, bake and cook cakes, deserts and chocolates according to our standards and recipes
• Ensure smooth operations & high-quality output
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist in training junior staff
• Monitor ingredients level, manage orders and minimise food waste
• Work closely with other kitchen sections, FOH & BOH Supervisors

What we're looking for

• Qualification in Commercial Cookery or Patisserie
• Previous experience as a Cook/Pastry Cook (at least 2 years)
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
• Passion for providing high-quality food and excellent customer service
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Previous experience with working with Chocolate desirable
