Workforce are currently seeking Precast Labourers located in the Newcastle area. You will be responsible for assisting in the production of precast concrete components for construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labour and attention to detail to ensure the high-quality manufacture of precast elements.

Although experienced applicants are always welcomed, this role is also open to people who are keen to learn the ropes of precast work.

About the Role

• $35.33 - $37.07 + OT + Bonuses
• Ongoing work with view to permanency for the right candidate
• Assisting with placement of reobar cages
• Assisting with the production, pouring, and finishing of precast concrete
• Preparing, assembling, and disassembling formwork and moulds
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Following all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a construction or manufacturing environment, preferably in a precast concrete facility
• Basic use of hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
• Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• WHS White Card
