Precast Labourers

• Ongoing consistent work with the potential to turn full-time
• Monday-Friday occasional Saturdays
• From $35.33 to $38.69 an hour plus OT

Workforce International are seeking labourers to assist with the production of precast concrete products. This is a great opportunity for employees experienced in precast concrete production looking for their next opportunity or for those keen to change careers & learn all facets of precast concrete production under the guidance and supervision of experienced team leaders.

Suitable employees have the opportunity to be offered permanent employment after 6 months.

Some daily tasks include:

• Concrete patching and remediation
• Cleaning and oiling of moulds
• Placing or reo bar / cages
• Concrete Pouring and setting procedures
• Use of hand and power tools
• Construction of bridge super T beams, planks and bridge parapets
• General site clean up.

What we need from you?

• Be willing to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
• Demonstrated labouring experience (employees with previous precast experience will be given preference)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment (strength, agility and flexibility)
• Must have an OH&S Construction Induction card (White Card)
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment outdoors
• Ability to follow instruction
• High regard for safety
