Workforce are currently seeking Precast Labourers located in the Newcastle area. You will be responsible for assisting in the production of precast concrete components for construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labour and attention to detail to ensure the high-quality manufacture of precast elements. Although experienced applicants are always welcomed, this role is also open to people who are keen to learn the ropes of precast work.

Suitable employees have the opportunity to be offered permanent employment after 6 months.

Some daily tasks include:

• Concrete patching and remediation
• Cleaning and oiling of moulds
• Placing or reo bar / cages
• Concrete Pouring and setting procedures
• Use of hand and power tools
• Construction of bridge super T beams
• General site clean up

What we need from you?

• Be willing to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Demonstrated labouring experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment functional
• Must have an OH&S Construction Induction card (White Card)
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment outdoors
• Ability to follow instruction
• High regard for safety
