About the Role
This position will be based in our Newcastle West Head Office, close to public transport, cafes and local shopping precincts. This is not a remote position and is open to candidates seeking a relocation to the area.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Bid strategy development including the assessment of properties
  • End to end bid planning and management
  • Development of written proposals and bid submissions
  • Managing high level stakeholder relationships
  • Assist in undertaking business and financial analysis of various areas of the business including departments, programs, processes etc to increase/maintain efficiencies
  • Manage the bid budget and monitor and report on overall performance against KPIs
  • Business development, including assisting in preparation of business cases
  • Undertake business analysis to assess viability of new developments

About You
You will have proven experience in leading bid processes, from opportunity identification to proposal submission. This includes ensuring the timely submission of high-quality proposals, managing the bid budget and resources effectively and establishing compliance with all RPF requirements and guidelines. This role will also uphold an understanding of market trends and competitor activity to inform bid strategy and ultimately drive revenue growth. Further to this the role is expected to assist in business development and business analysis, assessing new business opportunities and internal efficiencies.
Ideally, you will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field;
  • Demonstrated experience in bid management, proposal writing, or a similar role;
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate confidently and engage effectively with CEOs, Directors, and key stakeholders both internally and externally;
  • Strong project management and organisational skills;
  • Commercial acumen and risk management expertise;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and skills in data analysis;
  • Current drivers licence.
